A Bíblia responde:
"Acaso há contradição entre 1 Samuel
15.35 e 1 Samuel 19.24?
Samuel".

SAUL BEFORE SAMUEL
The Bible answers:
"Isnt' there any contradiction between 1 Samuel 15:35 and 1 Samuel 19:24?
In the first passage states that "Samuel never saw Saul again until the day of his death, 'and, second, that Saul prophesied before Samuel."
Note, in the second text, that is Saul who is before Samuel and not this before that. Samuel who had left Saul eight years before, presided over the assemblies of prophets, or prophets' house, kind of school or seminar where they wrote down and stored remarkable facts of the people's religious and national life, besides serving as a meeting of education and praise and worship to God.
The context reveals that, David fled from Saul, like Samuel in Ramah, from where both have gone to the house of the prophets. Saul, after sending messengers to seek David and know that they, forgetful of their mission, were prophesying involved by the Spirit of God, he went to the assembly of the prophets and "prophesied before Samuel."
