"Se Jesus é Deus, como está escrito em João 14.28 por que o Pai é maior do que Ele?"
Esta aparente contradição não significa qualquer problema. A Bíblia afirma que Jesus é o verdadeiro Deus, na primeira epístola de João. E há muitas outras inferências e referências. Mas, também a Bíblia se refere expressamente às duas naturezas de Cristo: a humana e a divina. É no tocante à natureza humana que Jesus disse ser o Pai maior do que Ele. Graças a Deus pela plena harmonia das Escrituras.

IS CHRIST INFERIOR TO THE FATHER?
"If Jesus is God, as written in John 14:28, why is the Father greater than He?"
This apparent contradiction does not mean any problem. The Bible says that Jesus is the true God, in the First Epistle of John, and there are many other references and inferences. But, the Bible also expressly refers to two natures of Christ: the human and the divine. It is with regard to human nature that Jesus said the Father is greater than Him. Thank God for the harmony of the Scriptures.
