A Bíblia responde:
"Como podemos interpretar Apocalipse 13? A besta será um homem, um animal ou um símbolo?"
Esta forma de revelação de Deus, biblicamente falando, feras ou aves de rapina, são símbolos do verdadeiro caráter do império mundial gentílico, guerreiro e agressor, estabelecido pela força: Dn 7.7.
Daniel tinha visto o reino da Babilônia, o Medo-Persa, e o Greco-Macedônio, sob a figura de um leão, um urso e um leopardo: Dn 7.3-6; mas João o vê semelhante ao leopardo, com os pés de urso e boca de leão, isto tipificando o reino da besta à semelhança daqueles reinos nos seus diferentes aspectos de governo.
Finalmente, este capítulo prenuncia o Anticristo, na época da Grande Tribulação que precede à segunda vinda de Cristo (a revelação): Mt 24.15-31.
Assim, acreditamos que a besta seja um homem.
WHO IS THE ANTICHRIST?

This form of revelation from God, biblically speaking, beasts or birds of prey, are symbols of the true character of the Gentile world empire, warrior and aggressor, established by force: Dn 7.7.
Daniel had seen the kingdom of Babylon, Medo-Persian, Greco-Macedonian and, under the figure of a lion, a bear and a leopard: Daniel 7.3-6, but John sees it like a leopard, feet of a bear and mouth of a lion, typifying the kingdom of the beast to the kingdoms like those in their different aspects of government.
Finally, this chapter foreshadows the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation that precedes to the second coming of Christ (the revelation): Matthew 24.15-31.
Thus, we believe that the beast is a man.
