Preguiça

"Passei pelo campo do preguiçoso, pela vinha do homem sem juízo; havia espinheiros por toda parte, o chão estava coberto de ervas daninhas e o muro de pedra estava em ruínas. Observei aquilo, e fiquei pensando, olhei e aprendi esta lição: "Vou dormir um pouco", você diz. "Vou cochilar um momento; vou cruzar os braços e descansar mais um pouco", mas a pobreza lhe virá como um assaltante, e a sua miséria como um homem armado."

Provérbios. 24:30-34.

(I went past the field of a sluggard, past the vineyard of someone who has no sense; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw:

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest —
