Existem três tipos de ressurreição:
1. Ressurreição nacional.
É a chamada ressurreição de Israel em termos políticos, materiais e espirituais. Deus advertiu o seu povo que, por causa dos seus pecados, seria espalhado entre as nações, mas que Ele depois o reuniria (Dt. 4:23-28,63; Ez. 36:24). De fato, a restauração de Israel como nação (Jr. 24:6; Am. 9:14,15) desde a volta à sua terra a partir do movimento sionista em 1897 até a formação do novo Estado em 1948, cumpriram-se várias profecias. O cumprimento final da ressurreição nacional acontecerá na vinda pessoal do Messias, o Senhor Jesus Cristo (Zc. 14:1-5).
2. Ressurreição espiritual.
Em relação a Israel significa o ressurgimento da sua fé como povo de semente de Abraão. Em relação à Igreja de Cristo, o sentido de ressurreição espiritual refere-se aos que, estando mortos em delitos e pecados (Ef”. 2:1), foram vivificados espiritualmente” (Cl. 2:13).
3. Ressurreição física.
Precisamos distinguir esse tipo de ressurreição sob dois ângulos: o temporal e o
escatológico. O temporal refere-se às pessoas que reviveram milagrosamente, mas que depois morreram novamente (2 Rs. 4:32-37; Mt. 9:24-25). No sentido escatológico, dar-se-á em dois tempos distintos. Primeiro, os mortos santos e justos levantar-se-ão dos seus sepulcros na vinda do Senhor (1ª Cr. 15:44,52; Jo 5:29). A ressurreição dos ímpios acontecerá, não como os santos, mas no Juízo Final (Ap. 20:11-15). Justos e ímpios terão seus próprios corpos, mas os mesmos transformados espiritualmente. Uns glorificados, outros inglórios; uns para o descanso eterno, outros para o tormento eterno (1ª Cor. 15:35-44).

There are three types of resurrection:
1. National resurrection.
